Bollé IRI Glasses (Clear)
Eye protection is the only prerequisite for playing airsoft - it is absolutely essential and is the only base requirement to participate. No site will allow you to play unless you have some form of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) for your eyes, whereas they will allow you to run around without a gun...although that just wouldn't be any fun. Good eye protection is the difference between having a good day, or having a very bad day. You can get goggles and glasses in different configurations, in various shapes and sizes and to varying degrees of protection.
The most important thing is that you get something that fits your head snugly, offers sufficient protection and that you're comfortable. Beyond that it's simply about choosing lens type (solid lens or mesh). Some people prefer mesh eye protection due to the fact it cannot fog/mist up, whereas others prefer the solid lens because there is no visual obstruction and light passes through much easier.
These Polycarbonate glasses are superb - lightweight frame, reinforced lenses for superior protection, optional elasticated strap to keep the glasses tight to your head, and lots of airflow to keep them from fogging. Comfortable stems ensure they stay put, and as they're glasses you get great coverage for the corners of your eyes (i.e. you can see out of the corners of your eyes, giving you a significant advantage over goggles)
As these only protect your eyes, we would strongly recommend pairing these with a lower mesh mask, or neoprene lower mask to protect your teeth and lower face
