Theta Optics 1x32 Red Dot Sight
Accessorising your airsoft replica is a rite of passage; a journey of discovery...and mostly fun! Whether functional items, or merely simple cosmetic additions to make the gun feel more yours. Either way, there are many options to choose from. One of the biggest choices many people face is what sort of optic, if any, to put on their gun. Some prefer the fast target acquisition benefits of a red/green dot sight, whilst others prefer the longer range approach of the magnified optics. For Red Dot sights it's just a case of deciding on a shape/style that you like the look of, and going from there. With magnified optics it's a little more complicated - you have to factor in eye-relief, objective lens diameter, magnification and optical clarity, as well as size and styling.
This tubular dot sight is constructed out of metal, and is affixed via a strong and stable RIS/RAS base, which aids the sight in holding its adjustment. As is standard across the board, there are two main points of adjustment; windage and elevation. Simply remove the caps on the adjusters, and using a flat head screwdriver (or the caps themselves) you can zero in your sight!
This particular dot sight is selectable between red and green, both with 5 degrees of brightness so you can easily find a setting best for the environment you find yourself in (whether that be the brightest day imaginable, or a dark room where you don't want your position given away). The sight itself is powered by a single CR2032 button cell battery, which is contained in the sight's bightness adjustment wheel.
One of the most attractive features of this optic is its low profile mounting, keeping it close to the bore for more accurate shooting. Mounting it on your gun of choice is simple; loosen out the bolts of the sight, slot in into place and tighten them back up - that's it! All that's left is zeroing it in (adjusting the dot to where the BB's are falling), and you're ready to go.
