Walther HLC2r Flashlight

Brand new from Walther, the HLC series of flashlights have come to shake things up. Not content with a single use case, these are designed to fit a variety of use cases, making them invaluable to your kit.

Manufactured by Walther, and constructed out of aluminium, each unit is IPX6 rated, giving you great protection from the elements. You get the flashlight, rechargeable battery, elasticated head strap, and MOLLE clip. These accessories hint at how you can leverage this piece of kit - you can use it as a hand-held flashlight, wear it as a headlamp for hands-free navigation/work, or wear it on your tac-vest or bag (MOLLE-compatible).

Designed in a low-profile L-Shape, the light source is on the side of the unit, providing additional utility, and greater use when in headlamp or MOLLE mode. There are two individial light sources on this unit - the primary white-light unit, pumping out 1000 lumens (with four degrees of brightness), and a secondary red LED for navigation (two brightness modes; 1 lumen or 25 lumen). To change light source, simply twist the unit whilst in the holder, exposing the secondary switch and red LED. This independent control ensures you never activate the wrong mode, as the primary white light unit is controlled by the tail switch.

Red LED's are ideal for allowing you to see, without affecting your natural night vision. They are ideal for night games, helping you move quickly, and stealthily, without giving your position away from white light.

Powered by rechargeable 18650 battery (also compatible with 2x CR123a batteries), this flashlight provides impressive performance.

With a burn time of 245 hours, the battery lasts more than enough for most engagements (between charges). This compact unit comes in at 116mm, and only weighs 125g giving a lot of utility for very little added weight. One of the ideal aspects of this unit is that if you use the included MOLLE clip, you don't need to add weaponlights to each gun, instead you can quickly toggle it on/off on your person, and reap the benefits.
