Walther PPQ M2 | FREE Delivery over €50 (ROI)
The Walther PPQ M2 is a more modern version of the infamous P99, the pistol of choice for the more recent James Bond (since Tomorrow Never Dies).
The PPQ M2 is virtually identical in looks, though features a more ergonomic textured grip that sits firmly in your hand.
This pistol is beautifully made, manufactured by VFC/Stark Arms for Umarex. As on the real steel the slide is metal, whilst the grip is polymer. This gives the gun a lightweight feeling, whilst retaining superb durability and strength. Surprisingly the gun feels quite dense - when you're holding it the gun feels solid. This is especially unusual given its weight.
Powered by green gas (sold separately), performance is affected by the cold however not as much as other pistols. You will still get fewer shots per fill during the colder months, but it remains serviceable year-round. It is recommended to use 0.25g BB's due to the small barrel - they are more stable, and have far less deviation.
For best results fill the magazine when both it and the gas can are cold, and then warm the mag up (stick it in your pocket for a few minutes) - this allows the most gas to enter the reservoir, and then increases the pressure boosting the performance. Recoil is surprisingly nice from this piece - when the magazine is warm, you get a solid snap in the wrist which feels great.
The slide cycle is quick and satisfying, which paired with the guns superb ergonomics makes this a beast to be reckoned with!
