Prometheus Flat Hop Bucking (Extra Soft)

This hop up rubber is a little unusual - it is moundless. Normal hop up rubbers have a mound (thickness) inside that protrudes into the barrel. A hop up nub sits between the hop arm, and the hop up rubber, and pushes the mound into the barrel window. So if it's integral, why doesn't this have one? Simply put, because this is designed for flat hop.

In a flat hop, you use a flat hop nub (also produced by Prometheus/Laylax), and you pair that with a moundless hop up rubber. You can either turn a regular hop up rubber inside out and cut off the mound, but for best results, the extra soft moundless flat hop bucking from Prometheus is ideal.
