Super Macaron Hop up Rubber (60 Degree), Hop up rubbers, also referred to as buckings, are the piece of rubber that sits around the barrel, and applies backspin to your BB

Hop up rubbers, also referred to as buckings, are the piece of rubber that sits around the barrel, and applies backspin to your BB. Given how integral this component is, there is no surprise that there are a lot of different options out there. The main avenues to consider are the degrees of hardness (the higher the degree, the harder the rubber is), the material used for the bucking, the mound design, and more.

The harder a hop up rubber is, the longer it will last, but it will impart less spin on each BB due to the decrease in friction. Harder hop up rubbers are primary designed for markets with a higher FPS limit, where it plays more of a role. Traditionally, for best performance, you want to go soft (however, it will mean you will be replacing your hop up rubber more often). The mound type is the material that pushes into the barrel - there are plenty of styles to choose from, but typically they are the traditional mound (single), moundless, twin-points (designed to keep the BB more centered), and flat.

Maple Leaf exploded onto the scene with their innovative hop up designs, becoming the first choice for virtually every gamer. Offering performance that was the remit of highly custom jobs, in an easy-to-install package, they have gone from strength to strength. From VSR series, sniper rifles, GBB pistols, and AEG's, Maple Leaf have something for you, even producing their own range of tightbore barrels designed to match with their hop ups perfectly. Without a doubt, they are the leaders of their own niche.

These silicone hop up rubbers are manufactured by Maple Leaf, and designed to get the most out of your AEG.

They're a high-performance bucking, providing excellent air seal, maximum contact with the BB thanks to its specially designed wide contact patch, and even helps keeps BB's centred when firing.

These hop up buckings are available in different degrees (i.e. how hard the rubber is). Generally the softer you go (lower the number), the better the friction and thus performance. However, they do wear out faster. As such, many people still favour harder hop up rubbers.

The Super Macaron offers greater stability over the earlier Macaron hop up rubber, with an improved and enhanced contact patch to stabalise the BB in-flight
