H&K's HK416 is an extremely popular rifle, and it may look familiar - it is based upon the venerable AR-15 (M4) platform, but improved in every way!

This model is the AEG variant, complete with MOSFET, referred to as the Gen.3 (or V3) Gearbox. This is not to be confused with the traditional gearbox variants, and instead is the 3rd Generation of Umarex's V2 Gearbox. You get a quick spring change mechanism, built in MOSFET (internal to the gearbox), and ambidextrous fire selector.

The HK416D CQB features complete and authentic H&K trademarks, making this replica looks superb - the body is excellent, and it feels rock solid. It is easy to see why it is one of the most popular guns in the airsoft world. Internally it has a version 2 gearbox, self-shimming gears, MOSFET for improved durability, and when run on Lipo batteries, the trigger response is superb. The shortened barrel of the CQB variant makes you more manoeuvrable, without sacrificing range or accuracy.
