AGM Dragunov SVD

The Dragunov SVD semi-automatic sniper rifle, or designated marksman rifle (DMR) is a long established powerhouse in weapons technology. It is manufactured by Izhmash (the same people who manufacture the AK-series rifles) in Russia, and was designed with a difference. Rather than focus in on pure accuracy for the more 'elite' units, they instead went with a design brief more befitting a modern DMR. There would be one per squad, especially since more compact assualt rifles and sub-machine guns had been adopted. 

The users would provide support from further back, with the ability to pick off multiple targets due to the rifle's semi-automatic capability.

Manufactured by AGM, the airsoft version is a spring powered bolt action sniper rifle. You lose the semi-auto capability, however it is quieter, and fast to cock. Simply pull back the bolt on the right hand side each shot, and you're good to go.

The finish of this piece is excellent, the plain black giving a sleek and realistic appearance, whilst the metal construction gives it a hefty realistic weight. The stock, handguard, and cheek rest are constructed out of plastic, with the rest of the replica built out of metal. The cheek rest is removable, depending on your preference. The Dragunov SVD has a built in side mount to allow the addition of a PSO-P scope, or a RIS/RAS attachment to allow you to run any scope.
