In the real steel world, a PEQ box is a small and compact unit with a lot of functionality baked in, designed for ease of operation, and making the life of an operator far easier. In airsoft, they are largely used for storing batteries, however some replicas offer far greater functionality, such as this one.

Manufactured by Element, this PEQ-15 is a flashlight, laser, and IR laser integrated into a single unit. Powered by 2x CR123a batteries (not included), it is constructed out of plastic, and operation is simple. There is a large button to toggle it on/off, and a selector switch to move between the different modes e.g. flashlight only, laser only, flashlight and laser, or IR laser. There is no option to put the flashlight and IR laser on at the same time...because you would never need to do that.

The integrated 20mm RIS/RAS mount makes it easy to install on most replicas, thanks to the captive thumbscrew. The PEQ-15 includes a pressure switch, allowing you to operate it even easier.
