Riser mounts are quite a simple concept - if your optic is too low, or you can't aim comfortable while wearing your mask etc.

Traditional riser mounts can be too high for certain use cases. The goal is to keep your optics as close to the bore of your rifle as possible, so if you don't need 1" of clearance, the half-inch riser will offer better results.

Suitable for any 20mm RIS/RAS rail, these are full length riser blocks i.e. 8-slot RIS/RAS, making it ideal for multiple accessories, or larger optics e.g. sniper scopes etc

The main body is hollow, allowing you to sight through it as well, preserving your line of sight for BUIS. However, due to its shorter height, it is more to reduce weight.
