The P8A1 may look familiar - it is the Bundeswehr variant of the venerable USP, and produced for Umarex with authentic trademarks, helping it stand apart from the crowd.

This full metal pistol is powered by green gas, giving strong recoil for every shot. The slide is metal, and the lower is plastic (as on the real steel) helping to keep the weight down without compromising on feel (or authenticity). As a H&K pistol, and variant of the USP, the controls are intuitive. The magazine release is a lever found at the back of the trigger guard (helping cut down on accidental magazine releases when holstered), and the safety is easily accessed whilst holding the pistol.

The safety also has a functioning de-cocker; putting it into safe will release the hammer, further improving the level of detail this replica offers.

Although this pistol does have a tactical accessory rail, it is proprietary to the USP, and will need an adapter to mount standard accessories.

As a gas powered replica, you will need to cycle through the different gas pressures throughout the year. Generally we recommend 130 PSI, however in the depths of winter you may need to use 150 PSI.
