WinGun 6" Co2 NBB Revolver (ABS) | FREE Delivery over €50 (ROI)
Pistols are generally used as a sidearm, or back up for your primary, however that doesn't mean that's all they can be used for. If action movies have taught us anything, it's that with a pistol, you're unstoppable! Smaller, more compact, and easier to use, pistols are a lot of fun, whether you're gaming every weekend, shooting targets out your back garden, or just like adding another awesome piece to your collection.
Non-blowback replicas just means that there are fewer moving parts, which improves reliabiltiy and economy. You use less energy per shot, and there is less maintenance overall. They're not as realistic as their blowback counterparts, however they are arguably more practical and (generally) have a quieter operation as a result.
This replica is powered by Co2 - these are small disposable self-contained cannisters, offering higher pressure for year-round performance. Unlike with green gas, where you will have to cycle through the different pressures depending on the weather, Co2 is designed to operate in virtually all conditions.
Each cannister holds plenty of Co2, and once inserted it cannot be removed until it is empty (otherwise you have a highly pressurised cannister with a hole in the top - not something you want flying around). For blowback pistols, each cannister will last approximately 50 shots, whereas with non-blowback pistols, it's closer to 100 shots (or in other words, long enough that you won't be bothered counting).
Due to the high pressure of Co2, it is not recommended to store your pistol/magazine with a fresh Co2, as the seals are subject to the full force the Co2 cannister has to offer. Similarly, you don't want to store them with nothing in it either, as the seals can recede. A general rule of thumb is if you have fired a full magazine worth of BB's through it, you should be safe to store it with the Co2 present.
Inserting the Co2 is simple - loosen the bottom screw, slot the cannister into position, and tighten the screw back up until the Co2 is pierced. You will hear a hiss, and then it will stop as you continue to tighten. Remember not to overtighten it, as you can deform the seals.
Win Gun, or WinGun, are an airsoft manufacturer based in Taiwan, pimarily of gas and Co2 guns, most famous for their full metal revolver line. If you haven't heard of the brand, don't worry - they're primarily an OEM for the likes of ASG, Cybergun, Umarex, and many more. So you've likely seen them in their other guises. They're some of the best on the market for replica quality, however where performance is considered, that definitely takes second string as they're primarily concerned with build quality. And to be fair, the replica types already have significant disadvantages - when using a six shot revolver, you're never going to be the most competitive, regardless of how accurate it is...but you won't care, because it's a revolver.
Of course, pistols and revolvers is not all they do - they also have some interesting historical pieces, such as the Winchester T2 Lever Action Shotgun (1887), and Mosin Nagant (M44). Without a shadow of a doubt, they're one of the most interesting manufacturers, offering unique products that no one else has.
This 6" Revovler from WinGun is constructed out of ABS plastic, is powered by Co2, and has an 8 BB capacity with quick-change circlips. The cylinder rotates with each shot, giving you that realistic revolver experience. Since it is clip-based rather than shells, it is a lot more practical to be used in the field, and given the reduced weight, even more so!
Although it won't win any accuracy awards, you don't use revolvers in airsoft to have the best shot - you do it because they ooze cool factor, and ultimate bragging rights.
The Co2 is stored in the grip, and each caplet will last in the region of 100 shots (long enough that you lose track of how many shots you've fired...thankfully Clint Eastwood is not looming over with punk pop-quiz)
