This particular gas blowback rifle is the FN Herstal M4, a staple of the airsoft world. Based on the XM177 carbines originally used by SOG and LRRP during Vietnam, it is modernised significantly. Setting this apart from the crowd, you have official trademarks from FN Herstal, a worldwide exclusive license from Cybergun.

Constructed out of heavyweight metal, this assault rifle feels incredibly authentic, and the deeply engraved trademarks serve to enhance this look. You have a quad rail handguard, facilitating the addition of virtually any accessories you can imagine, and a multi-position stock ensuring you find the most comfortable shooting position. As it is an M4, there are a myriad of different options available for customisation e.g. different stocks, grips etc. Just make sure to pick up the GBBR variants, as this rifle is not compatible with AEG parts.

The grip and stock are constructed out of a fibre reinforced nylon, whilst the main receiver, barrel, stock tube, handguard etc are all metal. As on the real steel, you have three discrete firing modes; safe, semi-auto, and full auto. The magazine only holds 30 BB's, so you likely won't be using full auto too much.

For best performance it is recommended to use a minimum of 130 PSI gas, however in the colder months you will likely have to switch to 150 PSI
