The M249 is a world famous support gun from Fabrique Nationale Herstal. It is a light machine gun, capable of sustained fire for thousands of rounds, thanks to its gas operated high cyclical system, and of course the quick-change barrel (in case of extreme overheating and/or barrel jam). The M249 is of Belgian descent, and has seen action in every US conflict since circa 1989. In terms of airsoft, it is one of the most well-loved support guns due to its practicality in the space.

This replica is manufactured by Cybergun under license from FN Herstal, giving it official trademarks throughout. This lightweight model is easier to manage, and is arguably the most practical support gun on the market. This new version has been factory-fitted iwth an electronic trigger and MOSFET, giving you a more responsive and more reliable replica. Best of all, it is a V2 gearbox, giving you better reliability and capability - easier to upgrade, and modify.

It is instantly recognisable, from television, video games, and movies - its profile is iconic, and extremely practical. It has an integrated foldable carry handle, as well as an integrated bipod. The handguard is railed, allowing you to mount accessories with great ease. The top of the receiver has a 20mm rail ideal for optics (scopes and sights). Further back you have the para stock - it is a collapsible stock, allowing you to drastically cut down the size of the LMG. To extend, simply pull back and rotate into position.

This replica is compatible with 2,500 Box Magazines (not included), as well as M4 magazines. Included in the box is 1x M4 Hicap magazine. The battery (included) is stored in the receiver; open the bolt cover, and slot it in behind the gearbox.
