The piston head attaches to the piston, and is responsible for delivering the air through the cylinder. There are many different types of piston head available, with/without bearings, silent-type, build material, double/single O-ring etc. Each one has its purpose, but it depends entirely on what your plan for the gun is.

This piston head from Big Dragon is manufactured out of aluminium. Since aluminium is both lightweight and durable, it affords excellent reliability inside your gearbox. Further enhancing this upgrade component is that it has bearings to reduce wear and tear from the movement of the spring, as well as dual O-rings for an improved seal.

Please note that we strongly advise testing the fitting with your cylinder, as some cylinders are too tight for the second O-Ring (in which case, simply remove it and continue with the assembly)

Installing this part is a simple affair, though will require disassembly of the gearbox. Simply remove the screw & bearings, place the head atop of the piston, put the bearings inside the piston body & replace the screw - that's it!
