Not all dot sights are created equal - although they largely function the same, the aesthetics can drastically affect their utility. This dot sight is based on the Aimpoint Military style, and was designed explicitly for the M4/M16 platform in mind, its height carefully considered to be co-witnessed with the BUIS of the platform.

Manufactured by JS Tactical, this Military Dot Sight has a 30mm tube, and comes with a cantilever mount for 20mm RIS/RAS, making it quick and easy to install on most replicas. It has a thumb-screw for tool-less installation, whilst the optic is secured by 6 screws, keeping it stable inside the mount.

Unlike many traditional red dot sights, this sight has analogue adjustment for brightness/intensity, affording more granular control. You can select either red or green for the dot, and thanks to the 38mm objective lens, plenty of light gets in for a clear sight picture.

The integrated laser is powered by 4x LR44 batteries, and is operated by a push-button toggle. There are two allen screws for adjusting windage and elevation of the laser, whilst adjustments on the red dot are located under the caps on the right hand side and top of the optic. Simply remove the caps, and either use a flat head screwdriver, or the caps themselves to adjust.

The red dot is powered by 1x CR1620 battery.
