G3 MC51 (T3), In airsoft, the mainstay (and industry favourite) is the humble AEG

In airsoft, the mainstay (and industry favourite) is the humble AEG. Battery powered replicas, offering superb value, and unmatched practicality. AEG stands for "Automatic Electric Gun", and it really is a case of "What it says on the Tin" - they have an internal gearbox, and motor, and when you pull the trigger the battery spins the motor, allowing the replica to fire. Granted, that doesn't sound terribly exciting, however in reality, it means every time you pull the trigger, your gun fires, and you can get an impressive rate of fire (more BB's down range faster).

Internally, most components of an AEG can be tweaked/upgraded, so you can tinker and customise your replica to suit how you play. Whether you want a faster rate of fire, more responsive trigger, or increase the range & accuracy, with an AEG the world is your oyster. Due to their mechanism, they are quieter than their gas/Co2 counterparts, so you can stay hidden for longer (or if shooting targets out the back, the sound is less likely to irritate the neighbours).

Jing Gong (also known as JG, JG Works, Golden Bow, Golden Eagle, Fuxing etc.), are one of the leading Chinese manufacturers of airsoft products. One of the original cloners (a company that copies an existing design, producing it for significantly lower cost), JG became the defacto standard in airsoft because of their proliferation, and sheer reliability. Producing AEG's for decades, with models such as the M4/M16, AK, SIG, G3, G36, AK, MP5, Steyr AUG, and many more, they have innovated and carved a niche for themselves, occupying some of the best value for money that you can get.

Fuxing/JG/Golden Eagle also produces a wide range of parts from their factory, both internal and external, allowing you to more easily repair and upgrade your replica, or simply to customise it to your heart's content.

The G3 is a more unusual gun type, and not something you see all the time. The larger 7.62 style magazine is imposing, and the full stock gives it a unique profile and silhouette. The design language is instantly recognisable as H&K; it is essentially a larger MP5. The MC51 is a shortened carbine, offering greater manoeuvrability in close quarters, without compromising on performance. Internally you have a V2 gearbox, offering great parts compatibility for upgrades and repairs. Accessory options are limited on a gun like this, but what you gain is something unique not often found on the skirmish field.

Manufactured by Jing Gong (JG), the MC51 is based on the H&K G3. Although not an official firearm from H&K, the MC51 was a modified G3 designed to transform it into a carbine for special operations. It features a shortened overall profile, with MP5 handguard, and shortened barrel.

The benefit of this design is retaining the stopping power whilst equipping it in a more maneouvrable package.

Internally you have a V2 gearbox, with excellent reliability - steel gears, polycarbonate piston, and JG's standard motor. You retain the G36C style hop up chamber, which is a rotary design offering finer control, allowing you to adjust your shooting on the fly.

Compatible with G3 magazines from Cyma, Classic Army, Tokyo Marui etc.

The battery is stored in the stock, giving plenty of room. You get the rifle, high capacity magazine, and battery & charger
