Theta Optics' XTO is based on the EOTech XPS3 holographic sight - it is constructed out of a mix of plastic and metal, and features a large easy-to-see reticule. Functionally, this red dot is extremely simple to operate - large buttons mean even whilst wearing gloves you can operate the sight with ease.
Powered by a CR123A battery, this optic has both red and green reticules, with plenty of adjustment for brightness of reticule.
It is recommended to run these optics with a lens protector, to keep them safe. EOTech style ones work best, as they push in directly to the optic, help mitigating significant risk
