Manufactured by Tokyo Marui, this compact assault rifle is modelled after the Heckler & Koch HK416C, and forms part of Marui's NGRS (Next Generation Recoil Shock Series). With the same great internals as found on their HK 416D and HK416DC, this compact rifle packs a serious punch.

With a full metal receiver, rail kit, metal PDW style stock, this heavyweight and ultra-realistic replica will take your breath away (and not just if you get hit by it). The out of the box performance is excellent, despite its shorter stature.

One of the biggest reasons gamers love the NGRS series is the pure realism - every time you pull the trigger you get proper feedback i.e. simulated recoil. Unlike GBBR (Gas Blowback Rifle), the NGRS system is not affected by the cold. If you use the purpose-built midcaps, these rifles will also stop on empty, forcing you to reload and hit the bolt release to resume firing. In other words you get the positives of the gas powered systems, with the performance of the AEG systems.

The 416C is unusual in that it is front wired, due to the compact scope. However, thanks to some clever engineering from Tokyo Marui, you'd never guess it was an electric gun. A small section of rail is removable, exposing the battery connector, allowing you to run a PEQ box (or battery grip). Of course, not everyone likes PEQ boxes, however Tokyo Marui still have you covered - included in the box is a clever battery magazine. An 8.4v Mini type battery can be housed in the magazine, and due to the electrical contacts positioned inside the receiver, operation is seamless. It is easy to see why this system is so beloved.
