New G&G LevAR (Lever Action AR) 15, Gas Blowback Rifles, or GBBR's, offer enhanced realism over their counterparts

Gas Blowback Rifles, or GBBR's, offer enhanced realism over their counterparts. As a general rule of thumb, they offer more realistic operation, with simulated recoil for every shot, powered by gas/Co2. This combination is sure to put a smile on your face, as with every pull of the trigger, the realistic reciprocation of the bolt thumps into you, making it more satisfying (and tempting to keep pulling that trigger). Unfortunately, what they improve upon with realism comes at a trade-off - they are not as practical as AEG's, as they have lower capacity magazines, and have to contend with cool down. In other words you will have to count your shots, and choose shots carefully to get the most out of your replica.

Another fantastic benefit of Gas Blowback Rifles is that they have more realistic disassembly (often referred to as "Takedown"), which further adds to the enjoyment of the piece.

GBBR's are closer to real steel guns in many ways, including the level of maintenance required. In order to keep them in tip top shape, you will need to regularly disassemble for cleaning and re-greasing, as well as ensuring everything is put back together properly. This may seem like a negative aspect, however it is where a lot of people get their enjoyment as you are more intricately familiar with your replica.

Green gas is one of the most common propellants used in airsoft. Although it is called gas, it's actually a liquid. When shooting, it uses the ambient heat to turn into a gas, which cools down the gun/magazine, causing it to cool down. As such, it gets less efficient as the pressure drops, and as the temperature decreases. That's why there are several pressures available, so you can compensate for colder conditions - when one gas type is not giving you the performance you need, you can move up to the next pressure.

Green gas is typically propane-based, however as it has a major advantage over propane...to quote Agent Smith, it's the smell! Or lack thereof. Anyone who has used propane, has had the displeasure of the awful aroma, which is absent from airsoft green gas.

G&G, also known as Guay Guay, or G&G Armament, are a Taiwanese manufacturer of airsoft guns and accessories. They gained a reputation for excellence among the airsoft community back when airsoft guns were not the most reliable, and their GR15 Raider become the defacto standard for entry-level airsoft. They were one of the first to use fibre reinforced nylon for their sportsline guns, and revolutionised the entry-level and midrange airsoft market, paving the way for other brands.

G&G's reputation for consistent quality, solid build quality, and great out of the box performance was well-earned, and over the years they continued to innovate with new designs (SIG series, F2000/G2010, P90, VSS Vintorez, and so much more) as well as improving their internals, releasing their ETU (electronic trigger unit). Their cold weather hop up, factory standard for Irish produced G&G replicas, offers excellent range and consistency, and became a firm favourite for upgrades in other guns.

Of course, G&G make more than just airsoft guns - they produce accessories from optics to magazines, grips, silencers, tracers, and a massive range of parts (both internal and external). Their reputation for quality has lead to them being one of the most trusted brands in airsoft.

The LevAR is a stunning innovation - lever action rifle lower, compatible with G&G AEG Upper receivers, giving you unprecedented customisation options. Fitted with a railed handguard out of the box, you can put on virtually any accessories to make this truly your own.

Load up the internal reservoir withh gas, adn you're good to go. Constructed out of G&G's renowned polymer blend, it feels rock solid, and is one of the most interesting releases for a considerable amount of time. Best of all, it's compatible with AR15 (M4) AEG magazines.
