Nuprol V2 Bearing Spring Guide

Manufactured by Nuprol, this steel spring guide is designed for V2 gearboxes. This is a standard type, and is not compatible with the quick spring change gearboxes

The bearings on the end of the spring guide provide additional compression on the spring, as well as reducing a point of failure, as the spring can move more freely. The benefit of putting bearings on the spring-guide side is that you get the benefit of bearings, without the additional weight on the piston/piston head, allowing for faster rates of fire.
