Stock up for even the toughest of battles, and save! Enough gas for circa 1,500 BB's (depending on airsoft gun, and how fast you shoot)!

Green gas is one of the most common propellants used in airsoft. Although it is called gas, it's actually a liquid. When shooting, it uses the ambient heat to turn into a gas, which cools down the gun/magazine, causing it to cool down. As such, it gets less efficient as the pressure drops, and as the temperature decreases. That's why there are several pressures available, so you can compensate for colder conditions - when one gas type is not giving you the performance you need, you can move up to the next pressure.

Green gas is typically propane-based, however as it has a major advantage over propane...to quote Agent Smith, it's the smell! Or lack thereof. Anyone who has used propane, has had the displeasure of the awful aroma, which is absent from airsoft green gas.

Elite Force are a sub-brand of Umarex, offering a wide range of products, all to the same exacting quality and standards you've come to expect from Umarex. From consumables (gas, BB's etc) to accessories (batteries, chargers, magazines etc), tools (knives, multi-tools etc), and airsoft guns (pistols, rifles etc.). OEM'd by a wide variety of manufacturers, Elite Force serves as a quality stamp, giving an extra layer of QC/QA, giving you peace of mind.

Choosing the right gas for your gun is essential; too strong and you do permanent damage, whilst too weak and you get poor performance.

Elite Force gas offers excellent performance, due to their mix of green gas and silicone oil, helping keep your airsoft guns in the best shape. 130 PSI gas gives you better performance than standard green gas, and is the go-to for airsoft in Ireland for the vast majority of guns.

For all-plastic pistols (especially Marushin & Maruzen), it is recommended to use Swiss Arms Light (110 PSI), whereas for most pistols you would go with either Green Gas, or 130 PSI gas. Tokyo Marui pistols will work on 130 PSI gas, however as it gets into the hottest weather, you may need to drop to 110 or 120 PSI.

The heavy gas is designed for gas blowback rifles, and is not recommended for pistols unless they're reinforced.

Although there are a lot of factors involved, each bottle of gas will last approximately 500 shots. The type of gun, size of magazine, weather conditions, and speed of shooting all play a role, so it is not an exact figure (much like a car's fuel economy).
