SHS M90 Spring

Airsoft guns have a lot of different springs - they're virtually everywhere you look. Over time springs can stretch, weaken, or break, so by replacing them you can keep your replica in tip top shape. The most common spring type is the main gearbox spring, responsible for the power output of your replica. These are typically rated in Meters per Second, however it is important to remember that there is no base-line. Each manufacturers determination of an M100 will differ (often significantly).

Inside your gearbox you'll find a lot of other springs - from springs for your trigger, anti-reversal latch, safety block, trigger contacts (sliding contact), tappet plate, etc. Replacing these can give your gun a new lease of life, making it feel more responsive.

Springs require you to disassemble your gearbox completely to install, so if you are at all unsure, we recommend seeking the aid of a professional for best results.
