Theta Optics Compact 2,5-10x40 Scope

This magnified scope from Theta Optics is a superb all-rounder. You get an all-metal exterior for superb durability, large objective lens letting more than enough light through to give a clear sight picture, lens covers, and an integrated sunshade to cut down on reflections giving your position away.

On top of that, this scope is compact, not too much bigger than an ACOG, however because it is larger the eye relief is far superior. In addition, there is an illuminated reticule on this model - powered by 1x CR2032 battery, you can select red or green, and you have 5 degrees of brightness per colour.

By far the big selling point of this scope is its adjustable zoom - starting off at 2.5x you have just enough to improve your aim, whilst still being useful for when people start getting closer to you. As it goes up to 10x, you can also use this as a spotting scope to let your team stay ahead of the game! For airsoft ranges in Ireland, we'd generally recommend a maximum of 4x - further than that, and you're seeing further than the BB's are travelling.
