The Mauser C96 is a pistol known as many names; the broom handle, the aforementioned C96, the Box Cannon, and the 712. A rose by any other name might smell as sweet, but a pistol with this many names is sure to be awesome!

This version is manufactured by WE, and is constructed out of metal and plastic. The pistol grip and stock are wood-effect plastic, but you won't notice once it's in your hands! The weight of this beast will put a smile on your face as soon as you pick it up and aim down its gradient sight.

If the pistol looks slightly familiar, and you can't place it, it's the base of Han Solo's blaster from Star Wars...if it's good enough for Han (to shoot first), it's good enough for you!

The stock serves as your holster, or more accurately a travel case - it is an awesome piece of design, although more of a nice-to-have than need-to-have. The pistol only fits in without the magazine, but it's a nice touch. Slotting it back into place as a stock only takes a couple of seconds, and the stock sits surprisingly comfortable into your shoulder. Although it makes this pistol quite large, it does make it easier to aim!

This model is full blowback, so when you pull the trigger there is a loud bang, and you feel the recoil! Although a lot less than a real firearm, it still gives you the grin factor. However, as it is blowback it is recommended to periodically disassemble and oil (take extra care on assembly/disassembly, as these are a bit counter intuitive) - you need to press up the disassembly lever, ensure the safety is off, and pull down the hammer; this allows you to slide the upper part of the gun off (to the rear).
