The Colt Junior is, as the name suggests, a compact pistol. In fact, it's a compact's compact. This mini sidearm is the back up to your backup! Suitable for concealed carry, this gun had been designed for vest pockets etc.

It is full metal, and gas powered. Better still, it's blowback! No bigger than the palm of your hand...provided you have average sized hands (don't worry, we don't judge)! Perfect for springing on the OpFor during a MilSim!

Please note, that this pistol is gas powered...and tiny. As such, don't be expecting full powered performance. The magazine is tiny (only holds 7 BB's), so you're not going to fit much gas in it! Now, the slide is quite small, as is the barrel, so the BB doesn't have much time to accelerate. You can expect in the region of 200fps with a 0.20g BB (and that's thanks to its 6.04mm tightbore barrel)

To be honest, numbers don't really do this gun justice. It's about style...and awesomeness...and the humiliation you pile onto the other players if you land a kill on them with this!

Controls for this gun are not exactly intuitive, but can you blame them? Space is at a premium! The magazine release is at the bottom of the grip, and is a push putton. Your safety lever is where the traditional magazine release would be (by your right thumb); to activate simply rotate this forward. This lever is also your slide catch; pull the slide back, and rotate into position.

This pistol will not drop the hammer without the magazine inserted, so always make sure there is no gas or BB's loaded when pulling the trigger. Also, please note that when you empty the magazine, the slide does not lock back to the rear. Instead when you pull the trigger on empty, the hammer will drop, the slide won't move, and you will need to load a fresh magazine in (and rack the slide) to go again!

Takedown is another story - pull the slide back, lock it into position, magazine out, rotate the barrel 45 degrees...pull out, rotate back 45 degrees and remove. You can them (carefully) remove the slide by holding onto it, and releasing the catch. Take care, as it is very easy to launch the slide halfway across the room!
